Double Pass Reverse Osmosis Systems

Pure water is the first and most important line of defense in water purification. The purified water coming out of the first reverse osmosis unit is pressurized and sent to a second reverse osmosis unit. The conductivity value is significantly reduced, lightening the chemical load on the next deionization stage.

Mixed Bed Ion Exchange Resins

It is the most common method for achieving near-zero conductivity. It is created by homogeneously mixing cationic and anionic ion exchange resins within the same FRP (fiberglass) or stainless steel tank. As water filters through this mixed-bed resin bed, the remaining minerals are also retained. When the resin reaches saturation, the system is professionally regenerated using acid and caustic.

EDI (Electrodeionization) Technology

It is preferred in modern facilities where chemical use (acid and caustic) is undesirable and continuous, uninterrupted pure water production is required. It deionizes water using electric current and special ion-selective membranes. It is the most automated, environmentally friendly, and new generation combination of reverse osmosis pure water production.
